The original scope of work on this project called for a kitchen remodel. After redesigning the layout, the existing kitchen was demolished and windows were added to take advantage of the beautiful garden views. The sitting area was enhanced and it became the social hub of the house.

 

Shortly after the remodel was completed, a flood inundated the house. The brand-new kitchen had to be repaired and there was an opportunity to expand the scope of the work. I redesigned the living and family rooms, adding built-in cabinetry, a mantle, interior furnishings, and a fresh color scheme. The home was transformed once again. My engagement with this client continues, refreshing a new room every year or so. It is always a joy to come back to the spaces I designed and love.
