This client hired JBD at the very beginning of the design process to establish a personal look that would be woven through his entire home. Together with Walker Warner Architects, we worked for a year before construction started, designing all the interior surfaces, fixtures, lighting and furnishings for the home. The program also called for individualized spaces for his teenage girls. We worked closely with each of them to develop their bedrooms so that their tastes were represented and their spaces worked with the home as a whole. Almost a three-year project from its inception, the final product is a custom environment for the client –– a practical response to his design dreams.
