A classic Mediterranean charmer built in the ‘20’s, this house had always been one of my favorites. Naturally, I was delighted to be asked to design a sensitive remodel of its kitchen, master bath area, and two upstairs baths. It was very important that any changes respect the architecture of the home. The ensuing work required some alteration to the outside fenestration as well as the removal of walls and re-configuration of spaces. My final design for the remodel of the kitchen, breakfast room, master bath, dressing area, and two upstairs bathrooms complemented the colorful taste of the owners with a deferential nod to the home’s history.
