This project was about helping the client realize her best self in a new chapter of life. The house had a functional layout and spectacular views of the San Francisco Bay, but the finishes were dated. The original dark brown stain on the ceiling and beams was swapped for a cool gray that provides a seamless transition to the bay views. Furnishings, artwork, and linens were all bespoke. The finale was a custom chandelier over the dining table that is as much a piece of sculpture as it is a way to cast a warm glow over an evening meal. This was a fun project to celebrate the client's new direction in life that resulted in a lasting friendship.
